I found these on several sites last nite after my buddy Fish found and linked them on our Google+ chat session.  Looks like I'll be keeping my VC battalion after all.  *grin*

All in all, I think these are great looking kits from GW, that will help re-VAMP the VC line. I cant wait to get mine!

Hellpit Abomination WIP

Flesh Golem from Confrontation.  This was a resin kit they put out way back when.  They are re-releasing these kits starting in August at GenCon.  I have since put a basecoat on this big guy and will be finishing it next month.

Massive Voodoo Contest Entry pics

Massive Voodoo is having a Mad Max car competition and this is my entry.  It is an old 71 Hemi Cuda model kit that I had sitting in a box forever, now converted into MY version of the ultimate post-apocalyptic world transportation of choice.  This is my first scale auto kit attempted in almost 15 years.

Space Wolf RTT 1500pts progress

As I mentioned in the previous post I'm gunning to get 1500pts of puppies painted up by March 12.  Here is the list of fun I'm running

Space Wolf Rune Priests

I converted these from WHF Chaos warrior bits and used a bit of greenstuff to extend the fur to cover the joint madness underneath.  DakkaDakka is having a mini of the month painting contest and this month's theme is leaders.  One of these two will be my contest entry.  I am painting up 1500 pts worth of wolves for an upcoming Rogue Trader Tournament at my LGS, Krystal Keep.  I dont know if there is a best painted award or not, but I'm going for it.  Stay tuned for updates.

Bloodbowl Orcs are finished!

Finally, all 16 of this team are finished... complete.. done deal.  I'm going to release a YouTube video this weekend showing the painting process and showcasing some of the individual team members.  Let me know what you think!

my wallet!! OOOOOH the pain! *grumblegrumble GW*

GW released pics of the new WHF Orcs/Goblins and they are full of awesomesauce.  I had heard rumors on DakkaDakka and Warseer about this monster spider kit that was coming, but was skeptical.  My worries werent well founded, as this kit has amazing potential for conversions and paint.  At 57 bucks, I'll probably only be buying one, but it kept me from selling off my skull pass goblins in hopes of someday completing a spider-goblin army.

Imbrianarts and some goblins!

I was digging through the web, always searching for those beautiful miniature gems and after following a Confrontation interweb trail, ran into Imbrianarts.com.  These minis are simply gorgeous!  I'm now saving up my pennies to buy the goblin set and trying to figure a way to integrate them into my goblin army for WHF.  (Yes, I have found another WHF army that I simply must have.)

Short vid of BloodBowl Orcs

Just a short 5 min video of the orcs I've finished so far, and some of the paints I used.  Hmmm.. I need to figure out how to lay down two tracks of music.  Someone suggested laying in one track with the video, then saving it, and then adding the second track.  I made this vid with Windows Live Movie Maker, so if anyone has a suggestion, post it up!

Resolutions and some Bloodbowl

Wow.  Its been a weird year. I built a ton of models, but painted only one mini, the bloodbowl orc shown below.  My new years resolution for 2011 is to get off and stay off my arse and get the minis I have piled up in my studio painted, and to resist the urge to buy new ones.  If the new Skaven second wave models are any indication of the quality GW is putting out this next year, I'm hosed.  Basically I have drawn out a battle plan/priority list to get things painted and make a dent in this stack of plastic and pewter.
